DATABASE REVIEW

Database Quality Review in Progress

We have started a systematic review of the KROK Trainer question database to improve both question quality and answer-key accuracy.

An initial audit of 300 questions from the 2020 and 2023 datasets identified several entries requiring further review, including possible OCR/text errors and potential answer-key discrepancies.

These findings are currently being manually verified against reference material before any changes are made to the database. No unverified medical corrections are applied automatically.

AI Explain arrives in Practice Mode

KROK Trainer can now generate concise AI-powered explanations after answering a Practice Mode question.

  • Explains why the correct answer is correct.
  • Provides feedback on the user's selected answer.
  • Highlights a key medical concept to remember.
  • Explanations can be closed and reopened without a new API call.

Exam Mode interface cleaned up

  • Subject selector removed during Exam Mode.
  • Tutorial shortcut hidden during active exams.
  • Home replaced with a dedicated red Exit Exam control.
  • Exit confirmation prevents accidental loss of exam progress.
